Legal Malpractice Settled for $700,000

Partner John M. Vlasac, Jr. recently settled a Middlesex County Legal malpractice matter stemming from a motor vehicle accident that occurred on September 15, 2011.  Our client was a 53-year-old man who had significant prior spinal pathology that was exacerbated by the subject accident.This led to multiple surgical procedures as a result. However, the client’s prior condition and the relationship of the surgeries before the accident where highly contested and required rigorous argument on our client’s behalf. Mr. Vlasac procured the support of top medical experts and was able to successfully argue a more reliable case then the similar testimony of the defense. An alleged criminal history of the plaintiff also complicated the matter. Ultimately, this deserving award was achieved for our client. It enabled him to satisfy unpaid medical bills and secure his financial future in the face of permanent injuries.
