The plaintiff was represented by Yelena Kofman-Delgado, Esq. of Vlasac & Shmaruk, LLC who was able to settle the claim for a total of $325,000 for a trip and fall accident.

On or about December 17, 2017, our client was shopping in the frozen foods section of a Shoprite in New Jersey where a store employee negligently left two empty U-boats unattended, blocking the freezer doors.  In order to get to the items that our client desired to purchase, she had to move the two U-boats which were blocking the freezer. After moving the U-boats away from the freezer doors and into the middle of the aisle, our client navigated around them twice, on her third attempt she tripped over one of the U-boats, causing her to sustain lacerations to her shins and neck and back injuries. A settlement in the amount of $325,000.00 was obtained from the defendant, Shoprite, during mediation.

Yelena Kofman-Delgado, Esq. is pleased to have been able to obtain this recovery on behalf of our client and her family.
